The All Saints Episcopal Trojans came into Friday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 56-43 win over Shelton on Friday. The victory was just what All Saints Episcopal needed coming off of a 87-34 defeat in their prior contest.
All Saints Episcopal's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caz Franks led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Manny Mizer was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
All Saints Episcopal's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-21. As for Shelton, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-18.
All Saints Episcopal will take on Prince of Peace at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Prince of Peace will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something All Saints Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight. Shelton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
