Volleyball Recap: Marist Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Marist had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the War Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Marist never let Mount Paran Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mount Paran Christian fell to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Marist and Mount Paran Christian will both be playing Blessed Trinity the next time they take the court. The War Eagles will head out to face the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
