Oakland made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,797 from 1,890. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 27-15 victory over Ravenwood last week.
The Patriots' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rhett Stacey threw for 45 yards and Kyle Oliver had 25 yards receiving. On the ground Darryle Hood Jr. chipped in 149 yards. Sam Hawkins helped Oakland's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Oakland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Emmanuel Smith has thrown for 456 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Oliver has 24 catches for 309 yards. Smith also leads the league in rushing with 600 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Riverdale takes on Blackman. The Warriors are currently in second, while the Blaze are in fourth.
There should be lots of points scored when Oakland and Smyrna face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Josh Harris' team comes in having scored 241 this season, while the Bulldogs have scored 55. The Patriots scored 27 points last week as they topped the Raptors.
