The Victor Pirates lost against the Two Eagle River Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Victor had to suffer through a rough 75-23 loss at the hands of Two Eagle River. Victor was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.
Two Eagle River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malacye Piapot led the charge by scoring 12 points. The game was Piapot's third in a row with at least ten points. Talon Addison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Victor bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Two Eagle River, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Victor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Two Eagle River will head out on the road to face off against Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hot Springs is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
