With a playoff game on the line, the Oakland Mills Scorpions rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 12-8 victory over Atholton. The win was familiar territory for Oakland Mills who now have five in a row.
Oakland Mills pushed their record up to 5-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Atholton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Coincidentally, Oakland Mills and Atholton will both be playing Mt. Hebron the next time they take the field. Oakland Mills will head out to face Mt. Hebron on Friday, while Atholton will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
