Summertown is a perfect 10-0 against Collinwood since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Summertown can't be too worried about heading out to take on Collinwood: they just beat Columbia Central at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Summertown was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 24-26, 25-19, 25-13.

Summertown relied on the efforts of Zoei Bonner, who had 45 assists and six digs, and Amelia Emerson, who had 19 kills and five aces. Emerson has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 39 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Garland, who had eight digs, seven kills, and three aces.
Meanwhile, Collinwood got the win against Hampshire on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.
While Collinwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-22, 25-10.
Summertown better keep an eye on Jordan Andrews. She was instrumental in Collinwood's win, getting 11 digs and three aces. Those 11 digs gave Andrews a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brilea Pigg, who had eight digs and four aces.
Summertown's victory bumped their record up to 34-8. As for Collinwood, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.
Everything went Summertown's way against Collinwood in their previous meeting back in September, as Summertown made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
