The Mt. Hope Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the East Greenwich Avengers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Mt. Hope and Ponaganset were almost perfectly matched up, but Mt. Hope suffered a 14-13 loss. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by just one point.
Despite their defeat, Mt. Hope saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jayden Martin, who threw for 137 yards and one TD on only ten passes, was perhaps the best of all. The Huskies also got help from Tyler Rhynard, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.

Mt. Hope better keep an eye on Spencer Padula. He was instrumental in East Greenwich's win, rushing for 120 yards and a pair of scores. Those 120 rushing yards gave Padula a new career-high.
