In other batting news, Brooklyn Amato was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bouton, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.
Ann Sobrato kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Mateo only managed six hits.
North Monterey County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ann Sobrato, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
