It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Keith Bears had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-56 win over the Blue Devils. Given Keith's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while Notasulga is ranked 372nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Keith to victory were Miles Hannah and Tommy Tisdale III. Hannah scored 24 points, while Tisdale III scored 30 points. Tisdale III hasn't dropped below 24 points for eight straight games.
Keith is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Notasulga, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
Keith will face off against Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keith has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,530 points over their last 21 contests. Notasulga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
