It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Walla Walla Blue Devils had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Saxons 83-53 at home. Walla Walla's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Walla Walla to victory were Madison Reibel and Miriam Hutchens. Reibel scored 33 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Hutchens dropped a double-double on 30 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hutchens has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bridget Boyd, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Walla Walla and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Ferris, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Walla Walla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ferris also has no future games currently scheduled.
