Sophomore Elijah Mills and senior Jesse Komoroski were among the main playmakers for St. Benedict at Auburndale as the former rushed for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns and the latter passed for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was a close one, but last week Washington sidestepped Westwood for a 14-12 win.
Their wins bumped St. Benedict at Auburndale to 2-0 and Washington to 1-2. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when St. Benedict at Auburndale and Washington clash.
