Camden was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Marlboro County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ivor Miles, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Nori Adams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Camden has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Marlboro County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden will square off against the Knights at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestwood is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games. As for Marlboro County, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake City has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29.
