After a string of three wins, The Rocksprings Angoras''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 52-12 loss at the hands of Brackett. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, Rocksprings couldn't push the score so high this time.
Kontagious Cook was his usual excellent self, rushing for 284 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.7 yards per carry. Cook's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Hidalgo, who rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Rocksprings' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Brackett, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2.
