Ray hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Texans will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Ray was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Corpus Christi Moody on Monday. The Texans blew past the Trojans 15-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Texans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Kailey Benavides, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Sophia De Leon also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carroll, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Miller with a sharp 12-2 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Ali Ann Deleon spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Talina Valdez and Jaslyn Yzaguirre did most of the damage at the plate: Valdez went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Yzaguirre went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaeleigh Mendez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Carroll's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Ray, their record now sits at 7-18.
Ray might still be hurting after the 13-3 loss they got from Carroll in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Texans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
