Fayetteville has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Buckholts, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Fayetteville against Buckholts when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 55-9 win. With Fayetteville ahead 34-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
