Susquenita got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Gibney out in front who picked up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Derek Gibney was another key contributor, throwing for 201 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, James Buchanan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Line Mountain, falling 56-20. James Buchanan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-0.
Susquenita's win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-5. As for James Buchanan, their loss was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
