The Faith Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Bethesda Christian on the road and fell 61-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faith Christian has scored all season.
Faith Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Joe Peter, who scored seven points along with two steals. Peter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Peter, who scored six points along with two steals.
Faith Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Bethesda Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Faith Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Spartans at 1:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Bethesda Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Traders Point Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
