Parra has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynley Brown, who had 28 digs.
Bayfield's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Del Norte, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
After both having extra time off, Bayfield and Centauri will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Del Norte, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Sargent on the 23rd.
