Bloomingdale is 0-4 against the Colts since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bloomingdale Cardinals' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Comstock Colts at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Tuesday, Bloomingdale was beaten by the Bulldogs 66-27. While losing is never fun, Bloomingdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 738th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 274th).
Meanwhile, Comstock's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. They fell just short of Lawrence by a score of 47-45.
Bloomingdale dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Comstock, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Bloomingdale couldn't quite finish off the Colts in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 51-48. Can Bloomingdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
