Presley Baca continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bennington, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Almquist, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Lincoln Northwest's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-17. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.5 points per game. As for Bennington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Lincoln Northwest will be playing at home against Waverly at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waverly will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lincoln Northwest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bennington, they will head out on the road to face off against Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
