Gordonsville entered their tilt with Clay County on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Bulldogs 11-0. Considering the Tigers have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gordonsville got a massive performance out of J. Foster, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Foster has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Bobby Cripps, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Gordonsville's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Clay County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Gordonsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-2 loss against Lebanon on the 10th. As for Clay County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-4 defeat against Westmoreland on the 11th.
