The Christian Heritage Academy Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Morgan Park Academy Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
Christian Heritage Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 41-27 bruising from Westlake Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Morgan Park Academy waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park 58-8 at home. The result was nothing new for Morgan Park Academy, who have now won four contests by 30 points or more so far this season.
Tiara Williams was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. The matchup was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Cecelia Drown was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Christian Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Morgan Park Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
