 In other batting news,  Colby Harrison was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Holden Reese was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Glen Iris Baptist fell victim to Clay County Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew  last Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 15-0 walloping at the hands of the Eagles.
 Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 6-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.6 runs per game. As for Glen Iris Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
