The Ocracoke Dolphins will head out on the road to take on the Hobgood Charter Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ocracoke has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Ocracoke didn't have too much trouble with Cape Hatteras on the road as they won 55-41.
Even though Hobgood Charter has not done well against Bear Grass Charter recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Hobgood Charter skirted past Bear Grass Charter 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Hobgood Charter has posted yet this season.
Ocracoke has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Hobgood Charter, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Ocracoke was able to grind out a solid victory over Hobgood Charter in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 60-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ocracoke since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
