Central has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Chattahoochee County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Webster County 68-23 at home. The win was just what Central needed coming off of a 45-15 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, even though Manchester scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Chattahoochee County still came out on top. Chattahoochee County skirted past Manchester 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Chattahoochee County has posted yet this season.
Among those leading the charge was Makyiah Clark, who scored 20 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessika Carter, who scored 12 points.
Central's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Chattahoochee County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Central took a serious blow against Chattahoochee County in their previous meeting on January 2nd, falling 55-25. Can Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
