Penney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Richmond Spartans and fell 69-42. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Penney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Richmond, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Penney has already played their next matchup (against Gallatin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Richmond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-37 loss against Excelsior Springs on the 17th.
