Van-Far strolled past South Shelby with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 60-46. This was payback for Van-Far, who suffered a 61-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Van-Far got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Pacey Reading out in front who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nikos Connaway, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and eight assists.
Van-Far's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5. As for South Shelby, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
