Florence took down San Manuel 115-53 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Neal ran for 247 yards in the win.
Coolidge made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,345 from 5,851. The improvement was the result of 63-28 victory over Casa Grande last week.
David Gesicki provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Seton Catholic defeated Bourgade Catholic. He completed 17 passes for 223 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 79 yards. Gesicki's favorite target this week was Matt Haggerty, who caught seven passes for 79 yards.
Mark Gastellum put up the best numbers through the air as Rio Rico lost to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. He finished with nine completions for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Gastellum's favorite target this week was Aaron Fanning, who caught six passes for 77 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Nick Prueher of Combs is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1644. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. On the ground, the Gophers' Nick Brown has rushed for 1351 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Haggerty. The Seton Catholic star has 49 catches for 778 yards.
Empire's Spencer Woody needs only 52 yards against Estrella Foothills next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Woody has rushed for 948 yards on 105 carries so far this year.
Florence led the league in scoring this week after putting up 115 points on the Miners. Neal in the win.
