The Carmel Greyhounds lost against the Lawrence North Wildcats back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Carmel was dealt a 79-45 defeat at the hands of Lawrence North. Carmel has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Lawrence North to victory were Naja Winston and Kya Hurt. Winston scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Hurt scored 12 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals. Victoria Guyse was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lawrence North, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carmel's road trip will continue as they head out to face Richmond at 3:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Lawrence North, they will challenge Castle at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
