The Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils will challenge the Paris Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Milford as Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin made off with  a  14-3 win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Hope Grissom spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on seven hits. That's the fewest  earned runs  she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

 At the plate, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin let  Gentry Elson and  Ella Acton run wild. Elson  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and three  RBI, while  Acton  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  doubles gave  Elson a new career-high.  Emma Shelato was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milford only posted a  batting average of  .269.
Meanwhile, Paris got the win against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland]  last Tuesday by a conclusive  22-1. The  win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won five in a row.
 Emma Kraemer made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Kraemer was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jacie Young, who  fired off two  home runs, eight  RBI,  and four  runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Morgan Coombes, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Paris, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
 Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin beat Paris 11-8  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024. Will Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin repeat their success,  or does  Paris has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
