Jemez Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 67-45 to the Laguna Acoma Hawks. One positive for the Warrior, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Jemez Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Laguna Acoma, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jemez Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Magdalena at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laguna Acoma, they will venture away from home to square off against Wingate at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Laguna Acoma is facing Wingate at the right time seeing as Wingate is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
