The Carolina Forest Panthers stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Socastee on the road to the tune of 59-12. The win was just what Carolina Forest needed coming off of a 62-32 defeat in their prior match.
Madison Hoffman was her usual excellent self, scoring 11 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Miracle McLean, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Carolina Forest has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Socastee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Carolina Forest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. James at 6:00 p.m. St. James' defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Carolina Forest's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Socastee, they will head out on the road to square off against Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
