Hudson added to the longest winning streak in Northeast Ohio - Valley this week by beating Brunswick, 22-13. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Explorers.
The Blue Devils made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 769 from 1,039. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 22-13 victory over Brunswick last week.
Hudson's dynamic duo of Mitchell Guadagni and Colton Whited proved tough for the Blue Devils to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Guadagni threw for 238 yards and Whited had 76 yards receiving. Jared Ruffing helped Hudson's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.
Ron Wright's team's dynamic duo of Guadagni and Whited proved to be unstoppable against Brunswick, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Whited was the best receiver in the league this week as the Explorers topped the Blue Devils.
Guadagni put up the best numbers in passing as Hudson topped Brunswick.
Richie Norman was the best running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 122 yards as the Blue Devils bested the Blue Devils. Michael Bekeny also contributed to the rushing game with 40 yards on the ground.
Brunswick's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Steven Ficyk has thrown for 766 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Zach Parker has 7 catches for 263 yards.
