Roosevelt can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on North Community with a sharp 60-34 victory. The win was just what Roosevelt needed coming off of a 60-36 loss in their prior match.
Roosevelt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Wren, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jaida Walker, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Even though Washburn has not done well against Minneapolis South recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Washburn came out on top against Minneapolis South by a score of 56-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Washburn.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Washburn, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7.
