Meanwhile, Birchwood Christian came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 38-33 win over Sand Point on Tuesday. The win was just what Birchwood Christian needed coming off of a 80-40 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Birchwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Guderian, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Guderian is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Severns, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Holy Rosary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Birchwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Holy Rosary Academy was taken down by the Warriors 57-15 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Guderian, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds.
