Meanwhile, Coronado is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Kailua. Coronado was the clear victor by a 55-34 margin over Kailua. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
Aiden Krause went supernova for Coronado, throwing for 317 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Scott "Bubba" Holper was Krause's top target, picking up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Lincoln's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. As for Coronado, their record now sits at 2-0.
