The Byers Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Simla Cubs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Byers' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so Simla's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Byers is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 54-8 victory over South Park. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Burros recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Byers was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 312 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Another reason for the win was Byers' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Parker Ebert was the leader with three.
Meanwhile, Simla was able to grind out a solid victory over Calhan on Friday, taking the game 29-20.
Simla found their leader in sophomore Ethan Kissam, who rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns. Those 178 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Kissam.
Simla didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tatum Kocerha and Kissam.
Simla now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Byers, their record now sits at 4-1.
Everything went Byers' way against Simla in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Byers made off with a 36-16 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Cubs' Tj Eurich, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of TDs.
