Concord Christian Academy has struggled against Greenwood Mennonite recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Brooke Flippo was Concord Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Greenwood Mennonite had a senior duo take command as Faith Troyer almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals and Laci Mast scored 20 points along with six steals. Mast is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Olivia Smoker was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Concord Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Greenwood Mennonite, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Concord Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairwinds Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairwinds Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Greenwood Mennonite, they will head out on the road to take on Salisbury at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Salisbury comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
