The East Lansing Trojans will face off against the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
East Lansing barely beat Waverly the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Warriors 14-4 on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Bodhi Alwin spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Fletcher, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
East Lansing always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills Eastern had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 19 on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Bengals. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.
Forest Hills Eastern pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for East Lansing, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
