Dover took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against West York Area, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 26th.

The win got Dover back to even at 8-8. As for West York Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
