Hickory Grove Christian had won four straight  games  and  Miles Allen did his part to make it five on Monday. The Hickory Grove Christian Lions blew past the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots, posting  a  74-33 victory thanks in part to  Allen, who  went 8 of 11  on his way to 19  points. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in points.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Kiser, who  posted five  points in addition to nine  boards and three  blocks. He is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's  played.
 Despite the loss, Patrick Henry Academy still got an impressive performance from   Mikell Tucker Mathis, who  put up 15  points along with six  boards and six  steals.  Michael Mizzell was another key player,  putting up eight points.
The  win  got Hickory Grove Christian back to even at 8-8. As for Patrick Henry Academy,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-8.
 Hickory Grove Christian will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Metrolina Christian Academy  at 7:00  p.m. Hickory Grove Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1  points per game  this season. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they will head out to  challenge Calhoun Academy  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 6th. Calhoun Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
