Waverly lost to Gretna 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Justin Lawrence ran for 56 yards in the defeat.
Plattsmouth led B District 2 in scoring this week by notching 40 points on South Sioux City.
Platteview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris MacKevicius threw for 35 yards and Ryan Shipley had 18 yards receiving. On the ground Noah Schlange chipped in 73 yards. Seth Starks helped Platteview's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 17 yards.

The Blue Devils' Connor Dukes and Hunter Hermida have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Dukes has thrown for 551 yards this season, while Hermida has 9 catches for 182 yards. The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Plattsmouth takes on second place Platteview. Plattsmouth topped the Cardinals last week, while Adam Kuhl's team fell to the Antlers.
The Trojans' offense has scored 114 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Bob Dzuris' team has allowed only 128 on the year.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when the Blue Devils' Hermida goes up against Platteview's Trevor Craft.
