The Brownstown Bombers won the last time they faced the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Brownstown came out on top against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City by a score of 49-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brownstown.
Brownstown found their leader in underclassman Danika Ramsey, who scored 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ramsey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lexi Seabaugh, who scored 11 points.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ruby Stuckemeyer, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and three steals, and Macee Rodman who scored 16 points. Rodman hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games.
Brownstown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Brownstown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ramsey at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Ramsey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Tuesday. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on the road again on Wednesday and play against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
