The Hidden Valley Titans will take on the Pulaski County Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hidden Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Hidden Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Northside, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Titans were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Vikings on Tuesday. The Titans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
ASHTON WOODSON made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, CAMLYN MORSTAD was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was ASHLEY STEVENS, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Hidden Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Pulaski County earned an 8-4 victory over Lord Botetourt on Thursday.
Like Hidden Valley, Pulaski County also got a great game from a two-way player: Addison Puckett. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Puckett was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Vest, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Carly Hight was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Hidden Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pulaski County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
