The Shidler Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 71-38 loss at the hands of Drumright. While losing is never fun, Shidler can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 469th, while Drumright is ranked 114th).
It was another big night for Joseph Bray, who went 14 for 22 from beyond the arc en route to 46 points and 0 assists for Drumright. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bray has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Bolton, who scored 11 points.
Shidler's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Drumright, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shidler will take on Olive at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drumright, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oilton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
