The Alak Huskies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 69-26 victory over Kali. Winning may never get old, but Alak sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alak to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josiah Henry, who scored 20 points. Henry is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Theodore Nayakik was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Alak's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for Kali, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Alak will stay at home for another game and welcome Nuiqsut Trapper at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Kali does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
