If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Petal. On Friday they take on Jim Hill at PETAL HIGH SCHOOL at 7:00 PM. Petal will be hoping to build upon the 49-14 win they picked up against Jim Hill the last time they played.
Petal ended up a good deal behind Brandon when they played last Friday, losing 21-38.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Jim Hill, and their contest last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They came up short against George County, falling 34-46. Jim Hill were down by 14-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Petal were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Jim Hill 49-14. Will Petal repeat their success, or does Jim Hill have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
