A Season-Best  Effort from  Jayden Evans Leads West Johnston over Smithfield-Selma
 West Johnston was led to victory by  Jayden Evans, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Evans wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble and making 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging   an  interception. The  game was his third straight with nine or   more total tackles dating back to last season.
 The  victory was  the third in a row for West Johnston, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Evans and West Johnston will head out on the road to  challenge  C.B. Aycock  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Langston Came Up Big in South Johnston's  42-20  Victory
  Holt Langston was a major factor in South Johnston's  win over Southern Wayne on Friday. Southern Wayne had no answer to  Langston  as he rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
 South Johnston and Hunt are set to duel  on Friday. The  game will pit Langston up against  the Warriors' star rusher  J.T. Thomas. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jerimiah Peart's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fike over C.B. Aycock
 While  Jerimiah Peart delivered a dominant  effort  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Fike. Nobody could stop  Peart as he rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
 The  defeat snapped Fike's winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 4-3 record. Peart's next  match is against East Wake on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  performance.
