Dongola was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Joppa-Maple Grove on Saturday. Everything went the Dongola Demons' way against the Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers as the Dongola Demons made off with a 70-50 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Demons have posted since December 20, 2024.

Joppa-Maple Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aiden Messer, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Stallings was another key player, putting up 15 points.

With the victory, Dongola broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10. As for Joppa-Maple Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
