The Amity Regional Spartans proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 36) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 victory over Law. The win made it back-to-back wins for Amity Regional.
Among those leading the charge was Tyler Wethington, who scored 13 points.
Amity Regional's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Law, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amity Regional will face off against Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Branford will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Law, they will head out on the road to square off against East Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Haven has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 388 points over their last six matchups.
